Why eloquence
Afsah means most eloquent.
The challenge the Qur’ān issued was linguistic: produce one sūrah like it. It was made to the most capable Arabic speakers who ever lived, and it went unanswered. Its inimitability — iʿjāz — rests first on its language.
Translation carries the meaning. It cannot carry the eloquence. That is only reachable through the Arabic itself, which is what we teach.
